President’s Foreword

2024 - 2025

Gentlemen fellow bowlers

Welcome to the 2024 - 2025 Hampshire Indoor season and I hope you all had a good summer and are ready for a busy winter

It is a great honour and privilege to be given the honour of being your president an I am looking forward to the task. I would like to thank my club Palmerston IBC for putting me forward

I would like to pay tribute to the immediate past President John Kellow for his support and to wish Vice President John Gunson a succesful year. Thanks also to all the other officers for the dedication they have put in on your behalf

My chosen charity this year is Parkinsons UK and I hope you will support me

To all bowlers, please support the County as much as possible through playing in county games both home and away. Good luck in particular to the Liberty Trophy, Under 25’s and Over 60’s teams

The post covid revival in our sport is clearly happening but we must not be complacent or shy in moving our beloved game forward

I look forward to meeting you and indeed playing with and against you over the season
